Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms & Regulatory Alignment
By accessing or utilizing the Swarn Healthcare Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use, along with our Privacy Policy. Swarn operates in strict alignment with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (2020) issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and SPDI Rules), and the Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act (DISHA) framework.
2. Scope of Healthcare & Tele-Consultation Services
Tele-consultation services on Swarn connect patients with verified, registered medical practitioners (RMPs). You acknowledge and agree that:
- Tele-consultations are not a full substitute for continuous, in-person clinical examinations or acute emergency interventions.
- Treating clinicians reserve the professional autonomy to determine whether a physical evaluation, immediate lab test, or secondary referral is medically mandated.
- Prescriptions issued via the platform are digital, authenticated by licensed practitioners, and comply with permitted medicine lists (List O, A, and B under Telemedicine Guidelines). Controlled substances (Schedule X / narcotics) are strictly prohibited.
Emergency Medical Care Disclaimer
DO NOT USE SWARN FOR CRITICAL, LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES. If you or someone in your care experiences severe chest pain, acute breathlessness, sudden numbness, uncontrolled bleeding, or altered consciousness, call national emergency services immediately at 112, or dial Swarn's 24/7 Acute Triage Hotline at 1066.
3. Home Health Care Services
Home care services (including in-home nursing, post-operative physiotherapy, and geriatric caregiver visits) are delivered by verified clinical attendants. Patients or their authorized family coordinators must disclose complete medical histories, infectious statuses, and medication regimens prior to clinical service commencement. Safe, dignified access to patient residences must be maintained at all times.
4. Medical Education & Certification
Clinical course materials, simulated masterclasses, and board examination modules are published for continuous professional medical development and educational enrichment. Course completion certificates attest to curriculum completion and do not confer state medical licenses without verification by respective statutory medical or nursing councils.
5. User Accounts & Identity Verification
Users must provide genuine, verifiable demographic and medical information. Safeguarding your access credentials and OTP tokens is your sole responsibility. Swarn employs encrypted biometric and multi-factor session protocols to maintain account integrity.
6. Payments, Cancellations & Refund Protocols
Consultation fees and home care service deposits are processed via RBI-compliant, PCI-DSS certified payment gateways. If an appointment is cancelled by a clinician or rescheduled with at least 4 hours advance notice, patients receive full account credit or origin refund within 3–5 banking days.
